A young kestrel found on the road was brought into us three weeks ago. He is in an aviary with three other captive bred kestrels and is doing well. We hope to be able to release him soon.

The wild Barn Owls on the farm have bred well this year. The bad weather meant that we frequently saw the adults out hunting during the day; trying to get sufficient food for their young during breaks in the rain.
